It's A Boy!
Congratulations to Jessica, our surgical assistant at the St. John's office, on the birth of her first child. Chase Marcus was born on Saturday June 26, weighing in at an even 7 lbs.

New Associate

The Oral Facial Surgery Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Michael B. Barbick, D.M.D., M.D. to our practice as a full time associate. The addition of a new surgeon allows us to better serve our patients and deliver the best possible care.
Dr. Barbick completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida, graduating with honors in microbiology and molecular biology. He was then accepted to the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville where he earned the D.M.D. with honors. Following graduation, he completed a six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Barbick also earned the M.D. from the University Of Florida College Of Medicine and has completed a general surgery internship at the University of Florida and its affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Barbick welcomes new patients for at the Kirkwood and St. John's locations.

Merger Announcement
Affiliated Oral Surgery (John A. Haden, D.M.D) and the Oral Facial Surgery Institute are pleased to announce the merging of their practices on June 1st, 2010. The Oral Facial Surgery Institute currently operates three locations in the St. Louis area including St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Chesterfield, and Eureka. As a result of this merger, the Affiliated Oral Surgery office located at 12166 Old Big Bend Road, Suite 101 in Kirkwood, MO will become the fourth location of the practice. The doctors and staff at the Oral Facial Surgery Institute intend to work closely with all new patients, offices, and referrals to sustain a smooth integration process.
